Just my opinion.
I hate discussing politics...
But why not! Hope my 200 weekly visitors enjoy it.
Someone did a suicide bombing and killed 40 soldiers of the Indian army. India retaliated by sending planes and bombing the group responsible. India for some reason sends the plane again the second day, it gets shot down. The pilot is treated with respect and returned back to India. The end.

If you asked me 15 years ago
I would have been like Hindustan Zindabad (Long live india), Pakistan Murdabad. I was an idiot back then.
I was immature, misguided and uneducated. I didn't have the ability to think on my on. I let media dictate my thoughts and opinion. I express what I thought was popular.
But now, I am different. I am no longer that idiot.
We as humans need to evolve from our primate current state. We need to erase borders and embrace everyone culture.
Don't let the media brain wash you.
My opinion - I think what happened was terrible. Having about 40 soldiers die is a terrible thing. Death itself is a terrible thing. It's sad to see what happened. But you must forget its not a nation that committing a crime, its a group or an individual that's doing it. We should stop blaming a nation. Think about this, India has a country faces this every now and than. Pakistan has to deal with this every day. Rather than fighting each other, it would be much better and smarter to fight against the cause.
Although I can't say that India response in terms of attacking the camp is right or wrong. I am quite impressed by Pakistan's response - to treat a soldier with hospitality and to return him back to his country without much torturer.
Although that being profound, the gesture itself was ruined in social media buy people opinion and negative thoughts. People should learn to accept things at a surface level rather than blaming it on 'geneva' 'pressure' 'influence'.
Both sides showed maturity.
What i also found unpleasant was how the media reacted. The media main objective is harder to provide independent news but to provide content that will generate views, ad revenue, clicks and fill pockets at the mercy of corrupting and influencing the less educated.
People need a purpose, even its a good or a bad done - doesn't matter. The world loves to operate in a mob mentality. They love to play the blame game and they love to unify against a cause, good or bad.
War has had a higher impact on nationalism than peace. But it shouldn't be this way. We should be fighting each other. We should be embracing our difference. We should be working together and growing as one people rather than finding differences in religion, region, nation.
My two cent. Would love to hear back from everyone.
Long Live India, Long Live Pakistan
